We have been to the largest gaming show in the entire world, the Global Gaming Expo (G2E) on numerous occasions now. This is the show that all the casinos attend to see what is new in the industry. Our Playing 21 Program made its debut at this show. Of course, we figured we’d give the casinos a heads up on what is coming their way from the players. I guess we are just nice people. We wouldn’t expect they’d extend us the same courtesy, but that is neither here nor there.

The reactions were overwhelming. Truly overwhelming. Among the comments were things like, “This program could ruin the game”, and “You can’t sell this to the players.” Those are great comments, and they really do show the power of the Playing 21 Program. However many casino executives were negative, and your guess is as good as ours as to why, about the program. When we told them many Basic Strategy Charts were incorrect, the general response was one of laughter. It was more eye opening than even we would have imagined. There is simply no respect for the players. We had dozens of casino handouts on hand to physically show them all the differences in the Basic Play Charts. Most have nothing more than a casino name.

In one conversation that was broadcast (for we use microphones and P.A. system), one executive had the nerve to say, “It doesn’t matter what is on any of those charts. Casinos are in the business of beating the player!” Talk about an one-sided outlook on the situation! Can you believe someone actually said that? I honestly thought many casinos would be ashamed of that fact (you know, that whole misleading the players and leading them astray to the tune of billions thing), not happy about it. I guess even embarrassment has a dollar value.

You’re Right And Others Are ALL Wrong!!!

One thing we heard over and over was “You mean you are right, and ALL the others before you are wrong?!” I hear this all the time, from time to time and still today. People tell us that there have been 100’s of books on Blackjack, and all of a sudden, they are all wrong? Are Jr and I the only ones getting this? See, plagiarism means taking that of another writer and using it as your own. Obviously these 100’s of books are all different are they not? Of course they are…I think we can all agree on this fact. Now, if they are different, even in subtle ways, a red flag should shoot up. Jr and I understood this from the beginning.

If you tell me the House Rules, and Number of Decks used, I can tell you the rest. The rest is this; there is ONLY one most correct way to play each and every single hand if you are not Card Counting. If you are counting cards, there is only one most correct way to count, and to play each and every hand most correct based on that count. So the question is, why are there 100’s of books on Blackjack? There can only be one reason for this, and one reason only…

Theories

Each book is based on the writer’s belief, his (or her) theory. Certainly many claim to be fact, as proven in the computer program they had made to simulate what they spoke of in their book. Does this not strike anyone as weird? First off, why not sell the Blackjack program? Secondly, if someone indeed did have a program, why are there more Blackjack books, professing different theories, being released? Is each and every book correct in every way? Of course they are not. How is each right and each wrong? Well, that is why we made the program. We have never claimed to have all the answers, well, before the program that is. Now all you need to do is enter the information found in any book and you can clearly see – FOR YOURSELF - who was right or wrong, and in what ways. We have proven, or disproved, everyone who came before us by producing, for you, the best Blackjack program ever made.

So we are not saying we are right and they are wrong. What we are saying, loud and clear, is there has been a lot of deception and misleading going on, and we have set the record straight. We have the program to prove everyone and everything. Those who are right, congratulations to you! Can everyone be right in every way? Not a chance, it is physically impossible in this game without this program.

It is certainly understandable, not right, but understandable that there has been so much variation about the game Blackjack. It was never simple until the Playing 21 Program was finished. Our questions still remain though. Why did it take little old us to find these answers? Surely, one of the richest industries in the world could have easily tackled this by having each casino throw in a few Blackjack wagers each. Did they ever make a program, and did someone truly know the correct way to play? If that was the case, shame on them for not sharing with the other casinos, or the gaming commissions. Shame on the gaming commissions for not taking it upon themselves to prove the math to the game! Certainly they are not going to sit here now and say they did? There seems to be as much confusion within the industry as there has been created amongst, and fed to, the players. No matter what the reasons, is it right?

Mad At Us

So here we are…the bad guys. Overall, the industry was not happy with us and still isn't. They told us that by their looks, actions and words. We had lots of friends we made in the booths around us, but not in the casino executive people who saw our product. A few simply snapped that we could not sell such a product to the players. Expect this to continue. A hundred thousand sales is not enough though, we need a million. Don’t expect the casino industry to take a warm shining to our product, even though they all bought it. They have the most to lose by you having this program. The record will be hard to set straight. Even magazines will have pressure on them to watch what they print and we have heard this first hand. Why do you think IGT has one of the best products each and every year from the gaming show? Is it they truly have the best products each year or maybe is it that all year long they pay for all the advertising in the gaming magazines? It is what it is. Unfortunately the advertisements in magazines are their lifeblood, how they are able to print each month. And, you guessed it, that is casino money putting those ads in their magazines (and ironically it is your money the casinos spend, pressuring the magazines to watch what they tell YOU). It is just fact that this battle, setting the record straight, is best fought by word of mouth. You need to tell everyone about this site, and the Playing 21 Program. Give everyone the option to seek and find the truth for themselves. Clearly, every single sale of yet another Blackjack book is only further adding to the confusion for the industry. Why take someone else’s word for anything. We have all the answers you are looking for, in one very user friendly and easy to use program. Find the answers for yourself.

We don’t mind being hated by the industry, or playing the role of the bad guy. If bad guys are those who clarify things and set the record straight for everyday, hard-working people, we are in some damn fine company in this world. If bad guys are those who stand up for what they believe in, then we really and truly are some serious bad asses.

So we have made the casinos and gaming industry aware of the misleading they have done to their players in the past. Sadly, for me personally, they don't give a rats ass.

It was one of my favorite Presidents, Ronald Reagan, speaking on one of the saddest events in his Presidency who said, “The future doesn't belong to the fainthearted; it belongs to the brave.” Courage isn’t being unafraid, it’s being afraid but having the guts to carry on. And it was my best friend in the whole world who once said “You can’t suck and blow at the same time partner”. They were both right.
