One thing that became clear to us about Blackjack is the completely different theories
and information that some players take as gospel. This was very interesting, trying to put together how this could have happened over the years. Each and every new site, or author who writes yet another book, or even the drunk guy in the casino, is adding to this confusion. Sadly, the only people who win, are the very people who laughed when I personally told them many casinos were handing out misleading information to their very customers. If that isn’t the most disrespectful thing I have ever witnessed, I am not sure what exactly is.
It was this continuous mentality of the people in the gaming industry, thinking players are worthless pieces of meat with money strings attached to them that really bothered me. Maybe it is the fact that we grew up in small towns, where people might know a little much, but overall are caring people. Maybe it’s because we aren’t truly the corner office, power-suit types, but more the fishing on a quiet lake somewhere types. Maybe we are just caring human beings. Whichever it truly is, one thing is clear, the casinos couldn’t give a shit about you. That is as long as you continue to frequent their fine establishments and lose 30 billion dollars a year doing so. The day you stop going to the casinos, all of a sudden their big hearts will come shining through.
You Now Have a Voice
It will likely fall on deaf ears, but it will be heard in this site. We want to create tens of millions of players who can be heard. By you joining, you can have your valuable say. Together we will lobby to be heard, only asking for what is fair and right. If we all stopped going to the casinos, trust us, we would be heard loud and clear.
We don’t want to ruin anyone’s vacation, but to show our support for a strong voice by the player, we are promoting “Respect Day”. One day each year, and hopefully this grows, we are asking all our members to avoid their local casinos. The reasons for this are many. If the casinos never feel the pinch, meaning they continue to make unprecedented amounts of money each and every year, they have no reasons to change their attitudes towards the players.
If all players banded together on this one day, and spent time with their families, or went fishing, the casinos may quite possibly take notice as to what this was all about. We aren't as much about making the casinos pay as we are about making the casinos listen. Maybe, once again, we’re asking too much.
If you don’t respect yourself, who’ll respect you?
Vote Now!!!
If It is an
overwhelming YES,
we'll pick a day and let you know it.
