No Star Is Out Of Reach

I don’t even know where to begin.  When we started this, it almost seemed too big.  There were a dozen times that Oz and I sat back and asked ourselves “Man, is this more than we can handle?”  “Are we ever going to finish this damn thing?!”  Every time we hit a wall, it was harder and harder to get back up.  But we did.  Three years, come and gone.  More hours than I can ever count.  But, when I look back, it’s seems like nothing at all, now that it is a finished project. The excitement level is through the roof around here these days.  We are all greatly anticipating your reaction.  Phase two has officially begun…           

I have a younger brother, and we are very close.  I’ve looked out for him my whole life.  I took a lot of crap for him, and got into a ton of fights when he’d get ten feet tall and bullet proof.  My point is that I’ve always been the older one, the responsible one.  And then in came Oz.  And now I have an older brother, and we are ridiculously close.  I’ve been looking out for him ever since.  I took a lot of crap for him, and got into a ton of fights when he’d get ten feet tall and bullet proof…Oh well, such is life.   

What can I say about that guy?  Thank you just doesn’t cut it.  I don’t think I have the words, to cut it.  He’s always done his share, and lots of mine.  He never complains.  He’s always trying to improve, both himself and everything around him.  I don’t know what I would do without him.  He knows what I’m going to say, or do, before I do.  Scott is the best man I know, and that’s saying something.  I love that geek.  You know, I actually would wrestle that bear for him.  And no he cannot outrun me.  Ed’s the fast one. 

Ed, the mover and shaker.  We need him to keep the ball rolling.  Without him, Scott and I are just two dumb-asses sitting on the deck, drinking beer, who happen to have 545, 763 ½ incredible ideas.  The business side of things falls onto Ed’s plate.  You are a master of all things financial and our point man and liaison to the rest of the business world.  Thanks partner. 

We have an incredible team.  There are too many members to mention, but I would feel pretty bad without mentioning a couple.   

Our programmers, you guys are the cat’s ass guys.  Way to step up.   

To our friends who believed in us, thank you.   

And finally, to all our wives and in some cases children, you sacrificed as much as anyone in order to see this through, thanks for your love and support.  I did all this for you. 

Some Just Take Longer To Get To

I can’t remember who told me this, but I’ll never forget it.  I was told that we were shooting for the stars, aiming too high…to which I replied, “What other way is there?”  When you say it can’t be done, I say it’s only that no one has thought of a way to do it yet.  It CAN be done, but you need the will, and the heart.
