Surrender Cutting Your Losses
Knowing how badly casinos like, and need, to take our money, McB Duplin is almost certain that within five years of the Playing 21 Program’s release, we will not see a casino offer Surrender anymore. We are certain, however, that any casino that does offer Surrendering, as well as the other rules that are good for the players, will be promoted and recommended throughout this site. We don’t like the enemy; never will, but we can respect the enemy who respects the players by offering them the rules that give them the fairest chance to win.
Surrendering is very key in any hand where playing it any other way results in the player losing 50 wagers in every 100 they place on the table (With the exception of hands against Faces and Aces, for the dealer often has a Natural Blackjack). If the player surrendered 100 straight $10 bets, he will have lost $500. If the next best way to play that hand were worse than 50% for the player, he would have lost more than $500 playing that way. In the game Blackjack, there is a very – VERY – fine line between winning and losing.
Better Late Then NeverThere are two types of Surrender but one is so seldom seen anymore, we don’t think it is worth anything more. Early Surrender seems to have vanished, and the Playing 21 Program might end up contributing to the early retirement of Late Surrender. The major difference between Early and Late is simple; a player may surrender a hand before the dealer checks for a two-card Blackjack. This also slows down the game by a few seconds, meaning less hands being played over the course of the day.
The Playing 21 Program allows you to set up the program using the rules of your local casino. If they allow Surrendering, you can choose to run your millions of hands allowing it. Lets say you have a hard 16 and the Dealer has a face card up. You can set player one to hit this hand, player two to stand on it, player three to surrender. After you run a million hands, go into each player’s Hand Breakdown vs. Dealers Up Card and compare how each player did. It should become clear looking at all the hands you receive, how to play each and every single one. Sadly no company in history has ever sold a program like this. We are pleased to bring it to you…better late than never. |

Surrendering is a great option for the player, when the casino allows it. It is a very simple procedure done by the player. Surrendering is basically just giving up on the hand. When a player Surrenders, the dealer will take half the player’s initial wager and the player keeps the other half. That hand is over, and it’s that simple.
If you do not make every single decision mathematically correct, you are essentially just giving away money to the casino. Why be happy losing when we can teach you to battle harder, longer and give you a better chance at success?
Late Surrender is still allowed. We recommend learning more about it through the
