See, some people just get things, while others never do. Wager vs. Win is one of those very things, like struggling with the punch line of a joke (however lame it might be). In Blackjack, the number of hands you win is not as important as the wager you made on those winning hands. We call this Wager vs. Win. If you understand this concept, you understand the Win/Loss Report, Wager Frequency, Card Counting, and you understand how to become a winner at Blackjack.

To emphasize this point, lets say we only played 10 hands of Blackjack in the casino. We won 1 hand, and lost 9 (1-9). We are smiling from ear to ear the next day at work, as we tell everyone how great we did at the casino last evening (only this time we are not exaggerating because we really did win). We tell everyone we won 10% of all the hands we played, but made money, a whopping $55! Our friends are rolling their eyes and saying, “There is no F’in Way!!!” Well, what really happened was we lost each of the first 9 hands at $5 per hand (-$45) and on the 10th hand we bet $100 and won ($100 - $45 = $55). Who ever wins only 10% of their hands and yet wins money at the casino? Well, it does seem like everyone I know always wins, and I am quite certain they win more than 10% of their hands.

That, in its simplest form, is Wager vs. Win. Once this premise is understood, and it was by us from the early stages, one can see the value of card counting and the possibility to actually turn the odds of the game in ones favor. Card Counting stresses that there are times in the game when the deck is more favorable for the player, meaning the player will get more wins than at other times, when it is not as favorable. If this was true, and it was proven to be true by the Playing 21 Program, then maybe by betting more at these times when the remaining deck was more in our favor, we could turn our Wagers into a positive number for us, basically we could win money, even though the Hands Won Percent would still never be higher than the Hands Lost in our over-all game. It makes sense, and we proved it. In fact it makes so much sense, anyone can win at Blackjack by using the program. Ironically, once you see your counting method in action, they almost all work.

Card Counting Variations

The first thing we did was allow the Playing 21 Program to count in over 25 billion ways. Basically you can place any counting weight on any cards. It is all up to you how complicated you want to get, counting numerous cards or just two. By doing this you could now set up your First Hit Rules, and Additional Hit Rules, to allow you to play any hand you want, any way you choose, at each and every count of the cards. Now you would run millions of hands and sit back and brace yourself…

The Win/Loss Report

After you are finished running your test and want to see something amazing, just check out the Win/Loss Report. We show you how you did at the game, in a way that you have never seen before. This is only one of many amazing things the program teaches us about Blackjack. Now you can see how you did at each and every count. Was there ever any count(s), using your counting method, when you received more wins than losses? Was there ever any count(s), using your counting method, when you won money? If there was, congratulations, you can now be a winner at Blackjack using your counting method. All you have to do now is wager more at these counts, and you could turn the Net Wagers, the amount you win and lose, into a favorable number. Of course we allow you to wager any amount you want at any count as well, even after running the test, so you can play around and see if you can make yourself a winner with that counting method and strategy.

Of course we weren’t done just yet. This was the tip of the iceberg. We knew, although the Win/Loss Report was a world’s first for Blackjack, we had to show something 100 times more powerful. If you only ever looked at the Win/Loss Report, how could you truly ever improve your game beyond Wagering? Well, there was "no F'in way", unless we showed you what truly is the DNA of the game Blackjack. It is also the biggest invention in the history of the game. It is called the Hand Breakdown vs. Dealer Up Card. We had to show a Win/Loss Report for every single hand you ever received and how you did at this hand at every count, and in much more detail, so 45 different categories.

You could now ask yourself, how did I do each time I hand a Pair of 8’s vs. the Dealer’s Face card? Are you playing this hand correctly each time you get it? Simply comparing how each did, as long as you counted the same for each, will clearly show you what is the best way to play that hand for your chosen counting strategy. Now you know the best way to play each and every hand you ever receive at the game. You are the best player in the world, or equal to him, or her, and it is right in front of your eyes.
